We're getting married

Two travellers, one gate, and a flight that changed everything.

We can't wait to share our special day with you, high up in the misty valleys of Northern Thailand. Come celebrate the new year — and the rest of our lives — together.

Our Story

How we
met

The first time I saw him, we were both sitting at the same gate for a flight to San Diego. I remember glancing over and thinking, oh wow, he's cute. When I got to my seat, the one beside me was empty — and I thought, how wonderful would it be if he ended up there?

Well, he did. We started talking, he asked for my number, and then we went our separate ways. I was certain I'd never hear from him again. He drifted into the "missed connections" file of my mind.

A few months later, out of the blue, a message: "Happy New Year." We hit it off like nothing had ever changed. And now we're saying forever — on New Year's, in the mountains.

Getting There

Travel notes

01

Fly into Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) is the gateway, with direct flights from Bangkok and across Asia. From there, the highlands are a scenic drive up into the hills.

02

Into the mountains

The venue sits in the highlands near Pa Miang — roughly a 1–1.5 hour drive from the city along winding mountain roads. We recommend arranging a car or private transfer.

03

Come for New Year

With the wedding on the 30th and a countdown party on the 31st, plan to stay at least two nights. Chiang Mai over the holidays is magical — make a trip of it.
